I got to fly a King Air from Bournemouth, England to Texas in May of 2015. I was impressed to see the amount of snow and ice that was present in the polar regions. Take a look at this video from FL240 over the southern tip of Greenland. I flew directly from Keflavik, Iceland to Goose Bay, Canada bypassing Greenland. The winds rarely allow such a flight, so it was nice to see the southern tip of Greenland from so high. If you look closely, you can contrast the rugged mountains from the smoother clouds and the broken ice in the ocean. To me, Greenland is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
