As a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE), Joe Casey is available to administer the numerous FAA Practical Exams

  • King Air 300/350 Type Rating

  • Embraer 120 Type Rating

  • ATP-ME

  • Private/Sport Pilot License (ASEL/AMEL)

  • Instrument Rating (Airplane)

  • Commercial Pilot License (AMEL/ASEL)

  • Multi Engine Rating (PVT/COMM/ATP)

  • Certificated Flight Instructor (Initial or Renewal)

To schedule a practical test with Joe, fill out this scheduling request. We will contact you shortly upon submission to get you on the calendar. Keep in mind when you schedule dates as Joe oftentimes books up months in advance. All check rides are preferred to be done at KJSO — if that is not possible a $500 travel fee will be applied in addition to the below stated check ride fees (all fees are subject to change based on distance traveled).

CFI-Initial: $1,500
Any other type (PVT, INST, COMM, ME/SE): $900
